1985, Danitra Vance & the Mello-O White Boys, program, SNL, People’s TheaterAbout this Item:
A program for
Danitra Vance & the Mello-O White Boys
performance from July 19-28, 1985 at the first summer festival that took place at the People's Theater/Fort Mason in San Francisco. The Mell-O White Boys were performed by Steve Canale, Rob Yampolski and Ron Stach. This program is significant because among the characters she performed in the show were several that she later developed on Saturday Night Live – including teenaged mother Cabrini Green Jackson and Flotilla Williams (who performs a version of Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene from her fire escape), described as a "ghetto Shakespearean actress." The program is two-fold/four-sided sheet of paper measuring 11 x 4-1/4 inches.
Condition:
Excellent save for handling creases throughout and light toning to the edges. From a pet-free and smoke-free home.
The pictures show the actual items you receive. The paper is white… my photos give it a bluish tint.
