Antique Catholic Holy Water Font, Crucifix & Christ Plaque / Handmade Primitive

Description

Offering a stunning, antique, hand-crafted Catholic Holy Water font wall-hanging, crucifix, and tiny plaque of Christ portrait.  The dark-stained wood plaque of the font measures 6" tall and is roughly hand-cut, w/a metal tin frame housing the glass-encased figure of Mary and kneeling worshipper.  The little porcelain font could use a little cleaning, but has no cracks or crazing, and is held in place with a metal tack. While the font is secure and won't come off, it can turn (see pics).  The interior shrine figure is lop-sided but seems firmly in place.  Antique newspaper was applied in the back to seal, but there are a few holes in it.  Ring in back is secure for hanging on a wall.  Metal Christ figure is firmly attached to wood crucifix. Included in this lot is a copper-colored metal-framed plaque featuring artwork of Christ adhered to backing.  Hanging loops are firmly in place. I cannot attest to the origin of these charming pieces, but would make unique additions to any font or Catholic shrine grouping.  From smoke-free and pet-free environment.  No odors.  Item will be shipped in a box via insured USPS Priority Mail.
