Antique French Marble Holy Water Font Cloisonne Enamel Communion, engraved on the back 10 june 1894 with DA initials.
An exquisite antique French holy water font dating to the 19th century.
The wall religious piece features a miniature painting, the communion, hand painted on porcelain plaque, it is highlighted by a cloisonne enamel frame. It is based on a marble plaque protected on the back by a gilded brass plaque.
The water container has been made from cloisonne enamel on brass and the inside has been white enamelled. There is a ring to hang it on the wall. Gorgeous design !
Good antique condition with some normal signs of ages, there is a small chip on the marble to the left of the cross. Please take a close look at the photos.
