This is a 184 page souvenir program book upon the occasion of The Guthrie Theater touring (pre 1988 opening) production of Frankenstein: Playing With Fire at the Premiere Season of The Bob Hope Cultural Center at The McCallum Theatre for the Performing Arts in Palm Desert California. The 10 page Frankenstein program is embedded within a book filled with congratulatory letters from Bob Hope, then President Ronald Reagan; prestigious benefactor, visiting artists and staff info, and many advertisements.
This is the Original 1987 production of the play which toured previous to its July 1988 performance at Guthrie Theater. It was revived in 2018.
